Why free, and what is the catch
Because a paid MCP plugin would be competing with an official free one, and that is a bad place to stand. A free plugin that a lot of people install is worth more to us than a small amount of licence revenue.
That is the plan, and there is no paid tier in development. If that ever changes, anything you already have keeps working under the terms you got it on.
No usage limits, no upsell inside the plugin, no telemetry you have to opt out of. You need an account to download it, which is the only thing we ask for.
We sell SEO, website builds, maintenance plans, and custom development. Some people who install the plugin later need one of those, and that pays for the plugin.
